Reminder Application?

Anyone have a suggestion for a good reminder application? I have an important event coming up soon that I need to remember, and I'd like a little app that sits in the tray and notifies me like 30 minutes before or something.

I know Outlook has this, but I no longer use that program (I use Thunderbird instead). Any ideas?

Switch to Linux. It has "CRON" built-in

Sounds like you could use an alarm clock. You can set it to go off any time during the week, every day at a certain time, every other day, whatever. You can set up custom sounds for different alarms and name them.
