I dont see any reason to hate E.A.? I actually really like most there games and am a huge fan of Dead Space and Mass Effect trilogy's.I dont know much about Origin as I use Steam and as of today just got Uplay,but I think people have a problem with E.A. because of the "pay to play" mentality they push on users for there Origin accounts. Other then that they are a game company with some historical games worth playing.So if your wife wants to game with you, I'd go for it and give her what she wants to make her happy.Nothing wrong with a little special quality time together gaming it up.
