There was a game that was really good from the 90's.

What I remember was you played 3rd person, crossing a building room to room, getting past obstacles that were laser-based.

Not a lot to go on, but I'd bet people who played it might remember.

When we find the name, I can see if it's on gog.com.

OP I have no idea, but this post:
Fade to Black?

You are awesome, in a weird way you helped me remember a game I played when I was younger, and could never figure out the name of it:

Out of this World for the SNES.

For some reason when I googled Fade to Black, google images showed a few screenshots of Out of this World lol.

It was driving me nuts that I couldn't remember that game.

Ah, nice to see that they are planning to release new content. I remember grumblings from time to time (mostly these pages) about the whole Black Isles fiasco, but I never connect such things b/c I don't pay attention to game studios and who owns what. it all seems so transient, anyway.

I just remember a time when if that Interplay logo opened up a game--whether it be on console or PC, it was going to be good--whatever type of game it was.

I still haven't played any of the Baldur's Gate games. :D

crusader no remorse

It's funny, I kept thinking of that game when trying to remember this, but thought that was a different game, more of an 'action shooter' - but since you mentioned it too I checked screenshots, and that's exactly what the game looked like, you may well have found it. Now I can check. Crusader no regret also.

Thanks for all the suggestions, though some were pretty far off the description.

Magnus, you were obnoxious.

I should have said 'office building' rather than 'building', but Roman good guess and you helped another poster:)
