My ex would rant about this all the time, how you are not Rock & Roll unless you drink and/or do drugs and have lots of sex. Also how there is no such thing as "Christian Rock", how it should be called something else entirely.

Lots of pansy "rockers" out there these days, that's for sure.

Most of the rockers from the 80s that are still around have changed their ways or else they'd be dead by now. Several of Journey, as an example are in recovery from various alcohol or drug addictions. Alice Cooper is another. Eddie Van Halen, I believe is also a recovered alcoholic.

Summer of 2004 and 2005 were great. The night of a thousand Nefs still ranks as my number one favorite evening.

Those days are LOOOONNNNGGG gone. All the cool guys have either left or mellowed out so much I cant recognize them.

I don't think that works, because Pete Dohrety probably does more drugs than any musician before him and he's terribad.

I can't really bring myself to hate sober musicians, I wouldn't mind going to see Nirvana doing an unplugged set of their newest album right about now or listening to a new Amy Winehouse single.
 
They realized they didn't need to destroy themselves with hard drugs such as heroin and cocaine to find inspiration. They just needed to try shrooms.
