You want to pay someone to pirate W95 for you?

Buh bye!

If you can find a disc + license yourself, the procedure I always used was basically:

1) Boot from boot disk
2) FDISK/Format as bootable FAT32 partition
3) Reboot
4) Install CD-ROM drivers
5) Reboot
6) Copy contents of setup folder onto HD (I used c:\win95)
7) Run setup from c:\win95

Quick, easy, & you'll never need the CD again.

its possible he owns a COA and license, but lost his CD and/or boot disk you know 😛 And I think he's offering to buy the other software for $20. So this all amounts to a simple wrong forum post.

What kind of crack statement is that

lol, I don't know.. I always thought it seemed odd. I never really checked it out because I don't care about Windows 95. For some reason I thought there was a post or something I read somewhere before that Windows95 would be considered free now, since it is so out of date. I thought it was even available for download from the Microsoft site

Unfortunately I remember all too well Windows 95 since up until September 2 all the workstations at work were Windows 95. :| I actually still have one of them up and connected to do some app work that does not work under our current XP configuration.
