Usher was a utility that attained some level of popularity in the Windows 3.0, 3.1 & 3.1.1 days. The utility was a very lightweight shell replacement for progman.exe.
The neat thing about usher was that it let you create a custom menu that was available via either left or right click on the desktop. Today, I think of useful it would be to have the start menu available as a choice that would expand hierarchally <sp?> if you clicked on the desktop (right or left).
Does anybody know of a utility that offers this functionality for XP?
