Remember this amazing college basketball ending?

Well, I was going to put this link here, but that thread is dead and this is a pretty cool clip.

What an amazing ending! Stanford was undefeated at the time. (If only the announcers could make it more exciting)

This is exactly why I hate basketball. 1 minute of game time takes 12 minutes to play.

have you watched football lately?

NFL football is just as bad. Same with baseball. American sports would be 100 times better without timeouts.

I actually agree to a point, no timeouts is a strong point for soccer...I wish other sports were the same with the ads on the screen or scoreboard at all times.

Well, considering most companies are losing faith in the ability of the traditional 30 second spot to effectively target customers, I wouldn't be surprised to see a shift towards more of this type of advertising over the next decade, particularly as DVRs become more popular.

Oh, does anyone have the clip (I think it's from the same season) where a stanford player buries a three after throwing it off a guy to avoid the up and down call.
