That guy probably lives a relatively stress-free life and eats a healthy diet of rice and other foods (as opposed to american fast food).

You could find him through that SBI Bank Employee, but unfortunately SBI's web site sucks!

USD 2,000 = around INR 91,869 (rate of 0.02177)

I could probably get a better rate as a bank employee and send a wire transfer for free.

125y 8 365d/y = 45625d * $0.25 = 11406.25

if he saved $0.25 a day he would have 11 grand to go to mecca with. bad planning on his part. he shoudl have thought ahead 😉

im flat broke. id prob give him some money if i actually could. but i have none 🙁

welcome to india ... 🙂

where if you dotn know how to pull strings you can never get things done..

Well its changing though.. last time I was in india I deposited a 20000 rupees in a new acct and then withdrew 10000 immediately. Granted it came from my dad's acct (the original check was from my dad's acct in the same bank) but try doing that in the USofA.. Mind you I opened a bank acct, and deposted 20000 and then withdrew 10000 all without leaving the bank..

God bless india..

Huh. When I opened my checking account with Wells Fargo, it required a 100$ deposit.. but I just went out to the ATM when I was done and withdrew 80$. 😛
