Cliff Notes: Last summer I saw what I assumed to be a neighbor's teenage kid 'sleeping' under a blanket in the front yard. Of course, I posted about it at ATOT.
Update:
While at the time I was leaning towards talking to my neighbor, I never did because I got the idea that the parents (T and E) had put restrictions on at least one of thier teenage boys. Fine with me and no similar behaviors since then.
However, about a month ago, my neighbor is up on his roof, washing his house. Strange behavior in my book, but as far as neighbors go, he could be lots worse. Later that day, he comes over and mentions that their house was vandalized. Eggs and a bag of feces was thrown at their windows. "Hmmm... who would do that?" I asked... He replied its was almost certainly the 'little sh!ts' he caught partying at his house a ways back.
So it appeared that his boys had some friends over, and that those friends took advantage of the situation. So that explains the pubescent conjugation....OR DOES IT?
Well, fast foward to tonight. T comes over asks me to keep an eye on his house while they go away for the holiday.... We start to talk, and he seems a bit nervous about leaving the house and repeats the story about how some kids had egged and thrown a bag of feces at their house during the summer. Except this time he makes it clear that none of them were home at the time. Some kids (acquaintenances of his sons) just sort of camped out in his house for a day or two, had a party, got laid or whatever, and then got busted.
Anyways, a mystery is solved, sort of....
