Horses work well in crowd control situations. You can bump a cop and expect nothing to come from it, but a horse... if it kicks you you'll be feeling it for a few months.

I think it'd be better to strike the fear of 'God' into them by saying it will spit you off if you ride it like a jackass. It's not a bug, it's a feature.

Chicago Police use them in the big parks and I see them around Streeterville sometimes too.

Pretty sure they're used a lot for employees/security at Disneyworld as well.

Hmmm...there's a place in the NC mountains here that was renting them out for nature trail rides. We were planning a fall trip to do it but when I checked the site this morning, there was no mention of the Segways. Guess they ditched them to avoid a lawsuit.

Why can't they get over to the side?? :| My Boss chewed me out for being late, so I blamed it on all the damn Segways I got stuck behind. I can just imagine being a HighSchooler at the mall, and one of those cop guys come up looking to be a jerk. Everyone takes off and the cop is like "hey get back here."

Then the cop takes off after one of the kids and ooooffff "oh shi!t". Officer screams "I just broke my nose on this fvcking segway." All the kids come back and just lol.
