As with Denzel Washington's memorable line in "Training Day," "It's not what you know . . . . it's what you can prove."

Take that one step further. You can't prove what isn't true. But you should eventually be able to prove what you know. If it isn't true, then you don't know it.

And a useful observation on the side: Belief won't get you dime for a cup of coffee, unless you can know it and prove it.

Trumpers are mostly just True Believers. That is, it is true that they believe; but what they believe isn't true.
