Maybe most people in Singapore, not so much here and in Europe. That was what I meant by the "lobby" (I was being slightly sarcastic.) As far as I know, there isn't much of such a lobby in Singapore, though I'm not sure they'd get much publicity if there were. S'pore isn't exactly known for a robust press free to criticize the government...Wait, he was the poster boy for the people against caning?
I thought that most people were really happy that the little vandalizing embassy brat got what was coming to him, despite the amount of diplomatic pressure that the US put on Singapore over it.
sounds like the kid needs a good dose of internet justice.
He's probably working with the victim so the internet raises money for him and then they split it 50/50.
My guess is most of the high school wants to kick his ass at this point. I know at my high school there was a pack of alpha guys that would surge on bullies, and they would have destroyed this kid. (seriously taken behind a bus and had bones broken).
A few of the guys went on to be special ops and spent a lot of time in afghanistan.
Surely there's a few stand up jocks that will level this kid.
