I guess you don't eat those things. There is grease inside the popper. You can't drain it all. If you aren't smart enough to let it cool before biting into it, you shouldn't be eating them.
i agree, BigJ obviously hasn't had a popper before. the cheese can go absolutely everywhere. unless you have a huge mouth and can put the whole thing in your mouth there is a good chance of the cheese coming out and burning you, especially if you're holding it upside down.
