I liked V for Vendetta, but what I find funny is that many people don't realize that the instigators of the real gunpowder plot were actually plotting the overthrow of the British government because they wanted to replace it with a Catholic theocracy. That's hardly something many people would want today, least of all the people who seem to be Guy Fawkes fans.

Bah, the silvers look DAMN good and besides, a movie is more than it's video/audio quality.

Look at the Godfather. It's intentionally too dark and intentionally has horrible video quality, but the content is what matters.

Most movies these days are visually stylized anyhow to the point that video quality on the DVD is less important.
