Voilà! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of Fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a by-gone vexation, stands vivified and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin van-guarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition.
[carves V into poster on wall]
V: The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous.
[giggles]
V: Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it's my very good honor to meet you and you may call me V.

Remember, remember the Fifth of November,
The Gunpowder Treason and Plot,
I know of no reason
Why the Gunpowder Treason
Should ever be forgot.
Guy Fawkes, Guy Fawkes, t'was his intent
To blow up the King and Parli'ment.
Three-score barrels of powder below
To prove old England's overthrow;
By God's providence he was catch'd
With a dark lantern and burning match.
Holla boys, Holla boys, let the bells ring.
Holloa boys, holloa boys, God save the King!
And what should we do with him? Burn him!

and a wiki link for the lazy

I have the whole thing memorized. I often do it when drunk at parties.

Also, does anyone know that unlike V For Vendetta, the actual Guy Fawkes was trying to INSTALL an oppressive religious regime, not destroy one. He was afterall trying to destroy Parliament, one of the early versions of representative democracy.

I never really liked it. *Shrug* been a few years since ive seen it, i just remember it made me want to read 1984 so I could enjoy a good story about a fucked up government.

but there's a badass who overcomes the fucked up government. It's a great movie.

I dressed as V for Halloween. Unfortunately I couldn't complete the costume with knives.
