Ok this is my second time trying to post this thing, it's becoming a futile effort for me to post and read AT anymore...
I was looking through my old hard drive and found my old mod and s3m files back from the bbs days...yeah people, there was life before the Internet and people were on 2400 baud modems. I found some cool tracks done by future crew, from the likes of purple motion, skaven, and so on... man this brings back memories. What can you use to play these files in windows? I remember before I had a soundcard I had this program that could play them through the pc speaker...it would some how emulate 4 channels of sound...ahh man...memories.

ok I found mod4win...man this thing is so old, i think the only windows based mod file player. I'll have to look into the .mod plugin... I'm playing astraying voyages from the UNREAL demo by Future Crew...it's still pretty amazing... I have this .mod Heaven and Hell, either DJ QUICKSILVER created it or he totally ripped half the melody of it in one of his tracks, Heart of Asia.... man that would be cool if he originally created that .mod file for the music/demo scene. Yeah I used to be a wannabe screamtracker dj also :)

Yep, I use modplug too. Mods are cool :)
though I rarely listen to them these days, I just gotta keep 'em for those few times I do.. the music is different and unique compared to "real" music, just wish they could make better quality ones :p
