I don't think Muslims are one monolithic group. I don't think they're one monolithic group even when taking it country by country. But to pretend that massive %'s of Muslims in say, Egypt, or Yemen, or <insert another extremely high % Muslim sh1thole> don't view the US favorably, and then very large %'s of that very large % don't outright hate us, is quite simply, delusional.

They may have actual reason to hate us (we killed someone they know wrongly), or they've just been taught to hate us (ignorant), it doesn't really matter. They hate us.

If a country is 90% Muslim, and 80% of that 90% in some way dislike the US and don't really care what happens to us if it's bad, and of that 80%, 75% would gladly pull the trigger, I think it's pretty safe to say when talking about people in that country, 'Muslims hate us'. Did we just include a good number of people in with the bad? Sure. Does it statistically matter? Not really.

But the vast majority of Muslims in the world are peaceful. The Gallup poll conducted the largest-ever survey of predominantly Islamic countries after the Sept. 11 attacks and found 7 percent of the Muslim world has been radicalized.

That means 93 percent of Muslims in the world are peaceful. But that also means that 7 percent of 1.6 billion Muslims in the world, which translates to 112 million Muslims, are radical.

One wonders how accurate that survey is. People in the rougher parts of the world will answer how they feel they should answer, not how they really feel. Then we get into did they go and survey enough people that weren't reachable by modern communications for it to be statistically accurate?

Unfortunately for us, I think the numbers are far worse than that... 🙁
