Remap Key in WinXP

I would like to remap my alternate select key to the control key.

I've tried google but everything I've found is for Win9x

try getting TweakUI for Windows XP from the microsoft website

it lets you remap a whole bunch of keys, it might work for you I am not sure.

Nope, PowerToys is a no go. Anyone else have any ideas?

There's a utility (remapkey.exe) in the Win2k Resource Kit that lets you do it.
