Why is Christianity the "right" religion and Jusaism, Islam, and other religions "wrong" religions?

How did you decide that Christianity is the right religion to choose?

What would you do if, once you die and go to the afterlife, it turns out that Satanism was the "right" religion? What would you do if all believers in God automatically went to Hell?

Discuss.

Lol.

Its true. I mean, if satan tortures bad people, then he is doing what god wants him to do. It doesnt make sense, but then again, no religion does, they all suck.

In re"Why is Christianity the "right" religion and Jusaism, Islam, and other religions "wrong" religions?"

A serious, honest, and logical review of the facts will make clear that God does exist, and the Bible is His word.

In re" How did you decide that Christianity is the right religion to choose?"

Same answer as above.

In re"What would you do if, once you die and go to the afterlife, it turns out that Satanism was the "right" religion? What would you do if all believers in God automatically went to Hell?"

NOT POSSIBLE, based on above answer.

PS please read ALL of "evolution" (search in off topic with 345 posts) and "Christ" (search in off topic with 201 posts) and then post any questions or concerns you may still have on the subject in one of those two threads.

Thanks
Dave

Most people follow the religion they are brougt up as and then for no good reason decide that it is the right one, meanwhile millions of other people are wrong, when of course if this person was brought up to follow that other religion they would have followed it anyway.

Yeah right. Even if that was true (which it isn't), it would negate the need for faith, and faith is the heart of religion, so you're wrong.

Skoorb, faith is necessary for salvation. A serious, honest, and logical review of the facts is needed to make an informed decision as to which "religion" is the right one.

Petrek, do you work as a clergy person or something? Just wondering; however, I do personally agree with your post #1.

If you know that you have the correct religion, you have lost your faith. For faith is believing without knowing.

What if they are all right, not right in every detail, but right in essense, that man can know something he often calls God? What if it's just silly people who get stuck on differences or reject them all because they are inconsistant in detail. What if you have turned your back on the deepest part of yourself because you missed the point?
