(IsraelNN.com) An Iranian newspaper blames both Israel and the United States for the statements made by Pope Benedict, interpreted as offensive by the international Muslim community.

The newspaper?s editor, who is reportedly close to Iran?s religious leader, blames Israel and the US for preparing the statements released by the pontiff following the ?Zionist?s defeat in the war in Lebanon against Hizbullah?.
That is two sources now, how many do you need before you believe it?
Give it a few more days and it will show up in mainstream news.

What does that have to do with violence? What does that have to do with Islam?

Iran represents Islam? Impressive.

It has nothing to do with the violence. It has to do with you trying to dismiss the comment because of the newsource.

Unreliable website.

I am simply saying even if it was true it has nothing to do with this thread or this discussion.

Ok, as you say. I thought you wre casting doubt on the story because it of its source. I am sure you can see what made me think this, and I can understand what you really meant.

I think there are some serious violence issues that plague Islam. Wonder when or if it will ever end.

I dont find it hard to believe. I just dont like it when people post websites from uncredible sources. Anyone could write articles on the Internet. Everyone is a journalist. The best journalist are hired by the big companies and they are big for a reason.

I dont disagree with you that there are problems with Islam, but I think it is very stupid to label an entire population as evil. It is like suggesting:

"watch out for that girl in our class she wears a headscarf and she is dangerous. Keep an eye out for her she might have a bomb strapped under her robe".

I dont care if they killed her because she was a Nun.
Place a Muslim in Montana in full Muslim dress. Do not tell me she is not going to get killed or attacked. After 9/11 plenty of Muslims got attacked in the U.S. Does that mean Christians are evil and against Muslims? NO. Unless you want to be a fool and link the actions of a few to the majority.

Stop being a bigot and look outside the box.

What do I have against Arabs? Nothing. I stated they are uneducated 61% of the entire Arab League is literate. That means 39% cannot read/write. That means 39% of them have no idea what the true meaning of their religion is because they cannot read the Quran. They have to hear about it from someone else.

Usually the uneducated live in deserts or poor areas where the people in the Mosque are pretty corrupt and uneducated themselves.

So you are now an expert on Montana and how the people who live there react?

Yes I am.

Hmm, I dunno, I live pretty close to Montana, and there were several Muslim women attending community college, wearing head dress (but face not covered) and long skirt I think. I didn't see any form of hate towards them. Of course I havent followed them all day tho.

My point was that these actions are usually carried out by Arabs. Arabs are the minority and their actions go against their religion so it has to be something else linked into the equation. I stated it has to do with the lack of education in those nations.

What do you have against Arabs?

Anyhow, the Nun was (obviously) dressed in Cathloic wear, hence she was linked to the pope (in their mind). It's too much of a coincidence to be regarded as an unrelated hate crime; besides, who would shoot a nun that does free service in their country? Only religious tools...

I dont care if they killed her because she was a Nun.

The difference being thousands of people were slaughtered as opposed to someone saying something that "offended". I think you are in denial. There's a problem, stop denying it. Look outside the box indeed.

Yeah, right -- we prove to you that it is reliable, and then you start blabbing about relevance; if you had an issue with relevance, you should've complained from the start.

Anyway, like I said earlier: it is very much relevant, since those dumbass Ayatollas are fomenting hate towards the USA and Jews, which will translate into violence, in one form or another, example: Over 100 Iranians Take Suicide Pledge.

I eagarly await for you to start underminig the reliability of the source, followed up by casting doubt about its relevance.

Of couse they didn't show any violence or hate towards them. If we even look at them funny the ACLU or NAACP would be all over us and sue us into oblivion. The Pope gave his apology...and, as expected, it wasn't enough. Where is the apology for us? Calling us infidels and saying it's the duty of Muslims to kills Americans and/or Christians. Where is the apology for 9/11? It is hypocrisy at it's finest. I am not saying all Muslims are like this...because I know that it's basically the radical thinkers who promote this but it is a bit hypocritical. If some Christian group were to do something there'd be a demand for the Christian community to apologiyze. Yet, Islamic terrorist group do things all the time yet hardly any leaders from the Islamic world condemn these actions.
