Recently, my D-link (WUA-2340) USB receiver has been dropping signal like crazy and it's been driving me nuts. Is there any other model or brand that has better signal? (Even when it was working "well", I always get either "very low" or "low" signal when my netbook and laptop next to it both get strong signals.
Thanks

Does it have to be usb? My experience has been poor with those things, if its a desktop use a pci card, if its a laptop would you be opposed to pcmcia or express card?

It doesn't have to be a USB, if PCI cards work better I'm all for it. But I don't think my computer is in a good place for it. It's on the floor, pretty much up against a wall, in a corner.

As it is right now, I'm using a USB extension cable that just sits up on the desk.

Edimax one looks good, especially for $20, any idea where I can get this in Canada?
