Reliable Wireless Bridge

While doing an installation today, a customer told me he wanted to share the connection with a pc in his shop, a metal building.

This isnt something we normally do. Ive done a wireless bridge before, and suppose this shouldnt be any different, except that Im not sure what hardware specifically would be reqired to do this reliably.

He currently has a 900mhz system on his home, point East (and slightly north of east) and needs a connection to his shop, 250 feet away, East (and slightly south of east) with a clear LOS from the home.

He *could* just get a second account from us, but thats another 200 up front, and 45 a month. He doesnt want another monthly payment, but is not averse to spending some money (I told him it was likely that what he wants could easily cost a few hundred dollars once equipment and time were factored together) to get a connection in his shop.

Is there a reliable way to do this without breaking the bank? I didnt have a chance to talk to anyone at work today, except for briefly mentioning it to my boss over the phone.

He mentioned we have a couple of Tranzeo 2.4ghz radios, but wasnt sure what models, or what features in particular they offered. They could *possibly* be used, once I get to find out more about them, since we dont intend to use them for any customer installs as we prefer to move/install everyone to Canopy systems.

Those aside, Im not sure what the best way will be to go about this. Any suggestions? Im not dead-set on doing this if its got a high potential to be problematic, and he's certainly going to have a price limit in mind, though Im not sure exactly what that would be.

Tranzeo's are usually great, and offer Point to Point bridge modes, or client/AP mode.

is that common for all models though? we have a couple older ones, but i dont know the model numbers. we have a couple of *new* ones we got when the company bought another company out, but i wont be able to use those for this; they'd cost him too much. The older ones I probably wouldn't have to charge too much for.

But what if he wants something *new*? Which is probably preferable, that way if theres a problem, something is under warranty, and not too costly. If one of those older Tranzeo panels died hed want it to be cheaply and easily replacable.

anyone else have any input? my boss told me saturday afternoon that we have 3 customers now who need this kind of setup and they can all be identical in terms of equipment....but i dont have this many used Tranzeo panels (to my knowledge, anyway) so I need a good, new, cost-effective way to do a few <250' wireless bridges.
