Reliable place to get used and/or ancient laptops?

Hi guys,
i just need a laptop that lets me run Word or IE, one that works for a financially deficient college student. im thinking something above 166mhz and so on. thank you

I have a toshiba satelitte that you can have for cheap. I think it's 75 or 100 mhz. Win 95? If yer interested I'll check it out for ya.

They have a 366MHz P2 laptop with Windows 2000 for $319. Or a 266MHz for $219. There are a bunch of other models available at various price points.

to Gravity: could you give me a quote on your machine? i'd like to run at least windows 98SE on it though, not sure how a 100mhz machine fares against that.

I have a Dell Latitude CP laptop with the following specs: Pentium 233MMX, 13" Screen, 128MB RAM, 4.32GB Hard Drive, USB Port, Parallel Port, Floppy Drive, CD-ROM Drive, Battery, Floppy Cable, AC Adapter, 3Com 10/100 Ethernet Card, Windows 98SE and a Microsoft Mouse. It is in excellent condition.

Check FS/FT here or ebay, both are good sources and thats where I usually get mine. I just put my old ibm 600e up on ebay today even. You can find some nice deals in both places with a little looking.
