I'm looking to upgrade my computer, a now old 2.4ghz pentium, with a pentium dual processor or the amdx2. I'll have to research more on cases and motherboards, but I want to spend under $1000. Last barebones system i bought was a bust, it kept overheating. This time I want to buy only from a reliable place.
I don't necessarily need a gaming rig, but I would like for it to be adequate to play todays fps games. The reason why I like the dual processor is I usually have multiple programs open at once
