Reliable, fast, light portable harddrive for notebook

I am looking for a portable harddrive (2.5")
size is aorund 250gb to 320gb depending on budget.
My budget is around $80.

any suggestion?

seagate free agent is probably going to be one of the best picks. it is basically a barracuda hard drive in a portable enclosure. if you need something which will run off USB power, you're looking at a 250gb drive for the same price from WD

WD passport series seems ok, is the cable hidden on the side of the hardedrive like buffalo?

because sometimes the cable is kinda annoying to carry
