Need a Laser Printer in a small footprint.

Its going to print all day from 4AM through Midnight, with a couple pages sent every few minutes.

Willing to do the maintenance to keep it ship-shape, but I can't find something (which may be a technology limitation) in a smaller form factor.

Footprint is a big issue, but I'm more flexible on height. I was sifting through amazon till I realized I should ask the community before I just start guessing.

Most printers with a recommended duty cycle like that (several hundred pages a day) are fairly large, physically. Toner cartridges are going to be an issue too - the average consumer-grade toner cartridge is smaller than it used to be, and printing costs are higher per page too.

IMO you want something large and noisy made by Xerox.

This is exactly why i asked him what small footprint means. In my opinion something like a HP laserjet would be small footprint, because what is actually needed is likely a large full size as you mentioned. But i have a feeling hes looking smaller than that.

Lulz 40k pages a month and op wants small footprint. Who is going to be refilling that 250sheet paper tray in the middle of the night, not to mention getting the printoutoff the tiny output tray.
