how reliabile are the Asus P8p67 LE b3 revision motherboards?

my new first budget build----------------

They come with 3 year warranty like all standard Asus boards. I don't know why you want a P67 board for i3-2100 though, you can't overclock i3-2100. Buy a H67 board, or H61 if you don't plan to use an SSD.

While I tend to agree with the points you make it really does depend if the OP would like to leave the option of upgrading to an unlocked "K" model chip and overclocking in the future.
