Hearing the term ballistix boils my blood.

Can't help with if these are better the the former evil ones tho.

Working fine without any problems here, 16GB total in 2GB planks spread over two machines. I also have 1GB 2.2v planks rated at 1000MHz that also work fine, but then again, I never clocked them past 800MHz speeds which is probably the reason they survived so far. People simply had unrealistic expectations of memory, they overclocked those modules to death and then wondered why they died... Ballistix is very reliable as long as you do not abuse it.

I have both of the infamous 2.2V and the newer 2.0V ballistix memory. Neither of them has died on me, but I've been running both ram on JEDEC standard settings most of the time rather than the higher voltage/lower timings setting.
