Reliability and performance: Abit KG7, Gigabyte 7DXR, etc??

I read thru some of the past posts and found that the hottest AMD Chipset-based mobo is a tie between the Gigabyte 7DXR and the Abit KG7.

Which is more reliable?

I'm a gamer and have to use the computer for applications (super beasts of applications that hog cycles like there's no tommorrow)...
