Maybe I'm crazy, but I'm thinkin' I might sell this Gigabyte 8SG667 (SIS 648) for a GB. Sure would like to see a performance comparison between the two.

hint, hint Evan :)

Yeah, I was going to include exactly that SiS 648 board, lack of time just didn't permit it though.

However, you'll certainly see 8SG667 benchmarks in my next couple GB reviews. :)

Does that mean you've got an Abit GB7-Ultra to review?:D

Hmm Elvis you going GB?
Depending on what Evan finds I may give up this excellent board as well.

I think I've given up on a bios update.

Someone mentioned to me that their supplier said 2 weeks for the Gigabyte GA-8INXP to arrive. Another guy said 3 weeks for the Asus P4G8X. Ok, we're talking different boards, sources, suppliers and even countries but it's a good sign that mid-December could be the time we see GB boards in stores.

While you're waiting, here's a new review of the Gigabyte GA-8INXP over at OCWB................

Linkage

Enjoy!:D

Mmmmmm.....yeah, I've pretty much lost my mind here. Definitely over the edge. I'm gonna go with the GA-81NXP along with another 512 stick of XMS pc3200C2, and a matching 60 gig drive so's I can do the Raid 0 deal. This oughta be a pretty decent platform for my Geforce FX :)
