Release date on Gigabyte 81NXP (Granite Bay) ?

Maybe I'm crazy, but I'm thinkin' I might sell this Gigabyte 8SG667 (SIS 648) for a GB. Sure would like to see a performance comparison between the two.

Yeah, I was going to include exactly that SiS 648 board, lack of time just didn't permit it though.

However, you'll certainly see 8SG667 benchmarks in my next couple GB reviews.

Someone mentioned to me that their supplier said 2 weeks for the Gigabyte GA-8INXP to arrive. Another guy said 3 weeks for the Asus P4G8X. Ok, we're talking different boards, sources, suppliers and even countries but it's a good sign that mid-December could be the time we see GB boards in stores.

Hmm Elvis you going GB?

Mmmmmm.....yeah, I've pretty much lost my mind here. Definitely over the edge. I'm gonna go with the GA-81NXP along with another 512 stick of XMS pc3200C2, and a matching 60 gig drive so's I can do the Raid 0 deal. This oughta be a pretty decent platform for my Geforce FX
