I am on my company's team for Relay for Life. Relay For Life is a fun-filled overnight event designed to celebrate survivorship and raise money for research and programs of your American Cancer Society. During the event, teams of people gather at schools, fairgrounds, or parks and take turns walking or running laps. Each team tries to keep at least one team member on the track at all times.
I really can't imagine a more worthy cause than donating for the American Cancer Society. You can donate any amount. You can use your credit card. You can write this off on your taxes. And it takes less than a minute. I'm only hoping people will donate what they can.
So put down that snickers bar and donate the dollar, your gut will thank you. Use that $4 you were gonna buy a pack of smokes with and help research that could directly help you in the future. Have one less beer at the bar tonight and donate the money, your head will thank you in the morning.
