I'm trying to figure out how I'm related to several people. Here goes.

My maternal grandmother had a cousin, a woman.

This woman had a son, who in turn had two children.

What would those children be to me? Would we be third cousins? I hadn't seen them in years, but this woman (their grandmother) died recently and I was at the funeral today, and someone asked how we were related and I wasn't sure what exactly we were.
 
Dunno ... If I have it right you share a pair of great-great-great grandparents. Not sure there's a name for that 🙂
