I probably am never going to have a serious relationship with someone younger than myself though. I can't stand the immaturatiy that most people my own age exhibit, let alone younger. That's why most of my friends now are in their mid twenties while I'm still 18.

I'm the same as you. I could barely go out with people 2 years younger than me. It also has to do with that the age difference when your younger matters more. Say if you're 18 and shes 16 or if youre 20 and shes 18. To you she will still have a highschool mentality. I've always dated girls older than me (one when I was 22 and she was 31) but most of it is because I hang around with people older than me. Once you get older you can start dating more than 2 years younger than you since they grown out of the teen years.

I dated a 39 year old woman when I was 25. I had no problem with the age gap but it bothered her. I'm 27 now and I'd probably be a bit uncomfy dating someone older than 40 or younger than 23. However, I don't set absolute rules (other than legal age) as I might meet a very mature 21 year old or a very youthful 45 year old. Who knows?

I am 25. I am currently dating a 36yo woman. Before I met her, I was aiming for 27-30.

So, ideally for me, my age range would be 23 for the low-end and 30 for the high-end. But I can't argue with a 36yo who loves me

And besides, she doesn't look that old!
