rejoin domain after 2003 upgrade?

Does anyone know if I need to rejoin the domain for my servers and workstations after a windows server 2003 upgrade?

I seem to remember we had to do it last time...but it could be we did it wrong.

how would you recommend we do it?
 
If you just did an upgrade from windows 2000 then you shouldnt need to have your computers rejoin the domain as the sid key will be the same
 
The upgrade should be seamless to your clients unless something is not configured correctly with your DNS or Active-directory.
