I'm not all that good at being what I am now, so I don't think it would be wise for me to become something I'd be even worse at. :)

I've done it twice in my lifetime.

Just after joining the Navy and after leaving the Navy.

A year ago at this time, I was a married stay at home mom of three, and had been for over ten years. Now, I am a seperated (soon to be divorced) mom, who works full time, and has her own home, income, and life. So yeah, I think things have changed for me just a tad. :D

Lol,it's not like that, I don't think base personality can be changed that much,it's just that I'm moving out of one life stage into another, going from having dependent kids into being back on my own, free to do whatever it is I want to do.Lol, I feel sort of like a middle aged teenager :)

Popeye the Sailor Man! Well I think you're fundamentally the same person after your early 20s (or whenever you reach that pillar of maturity). Surely you can tweak here and there afterward but unless you started on the Dark Path early in life you're not gonna change much.

At the begginning of this year (my senior year) I changed alot. First I stopped drinking pop, and switched to Orange Juice only. Next I started to eat my healthy. (Im completely healthy to begin with, 5'9 140 pounds) Then I stopped swearing, and stopped listening to rap music. Then I became alot more religious. Then I became alot more goal orientated, and stopped worrying about what other people thought of me, and started dressing/acting the way I wanted. Who knows whats next, but so far its all been for the better.

Yes I have totally changed some of the minor things about me. When I hurt my back and started going to college I used my first name instead of my initials. Worked different type of jobs than I used to. Changed the people I hung around. I like the newer me. Then again the old me wasn't to bad either.

Overnight I went from the desolate, defoliated jungle, fighting and killing to stay alive, to being a civilian who was not allowed to react in the way he had been trained. I changed, though. It only took 15 years with the love and understanding of a very good woman. I call that "reinventing" yourself.

Just call me Madonna... :D

I would have to say that part of my growth as a human being has included regular epiphanies and 'shedding of old skin'.

And I believe that the best is yet to come...

I've never served in the military, but I needed changes. It is taking a while, but I have time. Hope everything is working out for you. Happy Puppy

I now have a nice home with a fantastic wife, two children, two dogs and I no longer explode in a way that causes physical damage to anyone around me.

I'm doing just fine, thank you.

I dunno. Change gets in the way sometimes.

It weighs your pockets down, and if you have a celly and keys in there, can seriously disrupt your waistline equilibrium.

But it does come in handy for parking meters.
