Reinstalling Internet explorer

I'm running WinXP and trying to reinstall Internet Explorer. The setup program will not run because it says I'm alredy running the latest version. So I tried deleting the directory it's in, but everytime I do the file iexplore.exe keeps coming back. Any way to get around this or some other way to install???

burn IE setup files and install it on your machine?
