reinstalled windows, speakers no longer work. audigy 2 with logitech speakers

ok i can't figure this out. the speakers are about 2 weeks old. logitech ze5300. i have them all wired correctly. they were working fine before i reinstalled windows. after i reinstalled windows though the only 2 speakers that work are the front 2. is it possible for the rear and center jacks on the sub to just go out like that. thats whats happened. if i go from black (rear) on the sound card to front (green) on the sub it works just backwards. but if i go black to black nothing comes out. same with center. is there setting im missing?
