reinstall windows 7 on Intell SSD X-25M

I searched this forum, but could find good details on how to "clean" / clear an Intel SSD X-25M before re-installing windows 7.

I had installed Win7 32bit before enabling AHCI, but now want to start the install from scratch using this basic recipe
1. update firmware
2. enable AHCI
3. install Windows 7 32bit.

The question : what is the best way to re-initialize the SSD ?
- use the IBM toolbox wiper tool?
- the usual dos cmd tools : DISKPART (to delete/create partitions)
- other, better methods ?
