I recently moved most all my music from various folders into a backup folder for reformatting. I have decided to hold off against reformatting, however Itunes has lost the location for most of my files. I don't want to have to click each file and relocate it manually.
I think the alternative is to delete the entire library and then drag the new backup folder into Itunes? However, I don't think I have EVERY music file in that one backup folder. I think there are a few stray songs here and there that I may loose.
Is there a way to get Itunes to go out and search my hard drive for all my mp3s/music? Any help is greatly appreciated.
