reinatall windows networking?

I'm having trouble setting up a computer to connect to a wireless WPA TKIP network that uses PEAP. When I go to the authorization tab of the wirless network properties box the EAP option is blank where i should be able to choose PEAP. The computer has service pack 2 and the latest windows updates. Is there someway to reinstall the network components?

So let me get this straight. All you see is EAP? If so, have you tried using that to see if it works?

the "enable IEEE 802.1X authentication for this network" checkbox is greyed out and the drop down near EAP type: has two blank fields
