Say BUSH's brother wanted to go for Pres, that's 2012, is this a monarchy or what?

Should there be an Ammendment to prohibit family members from running for office after a father and son? And now a brother?

What about Hilary Clinton? Wife to Bill Clinton? If she runs and wins, Clinton monarchy?

If the people elect them, then so be it.

If people are stupid enough to elect another Bush or even nominate another Clinton, then they deserve what they get.

Jeb Bush will probably be the next president because the Dems have no balls to stop GWB now.

Maybe something will come of the Downing St memo, but the press is afraid to touch that for the most part.

You're assuming that there's going to be an election. If we have another 'terrorist attack', he'll invoke emergency powers and he'll be dictator forever!

dictator?

I don't know, I know for sure Cheny woun't be running for president. That would be political suicide for republicans.

It'll be interesting to see the next Republican Canadiate though...

Nutjob Frist. (I, no pund intended, pray that he won't get the nod)

McCain on the GOP side, Bill Richardson on the Dem side. Enough of these whacko party extremists (on both sides).

i wonder if it would, though. it must look strange if we really do switch between only a few families in our political world. almost like, we think we dont want a monarchy but its just easier.

sadly a minority is called a majority in this country when voting time comes around. if it was 60 million to elect, that's only ~20% of the population. (granted i dunno what % is under 18)

Um, Clinton did a pretty good job running the country. He fvcked up with the Monica blow job thing, but over all, his Presidency was quite impressive. Certainly a much more successful Presidency than Dumbya's. I get the sense many Americans look back fondly to those days of prosperity during the last Clinton Presidency.

Actually, Hillary is very much a moderate, hence her wide appeal. :)

Part of the reason Hillary will win is that she will be fighting some grey haired religious freak like Frist, or some old, old man past his prime such as McCain. :)
