reheating pizza using the oven??? help me to not starve :(

hdeck

Lifer
ok so i bought a papa john's pizza last week and only ate half of it that night. being poor, my options for dinner are low. so i figure i will heat up the other half (4 slices) in my oven because microwaved it tastes like crap. what are the best temps/times to do this?

I did this about 3 weeks ago - 325 degrees on bake, let the oven heat for about 10 minutes, then stick it in for 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is hot. The bottom will become slightly crispy but it tastes even better than it did straight from Papa Johns (imho)

As long as you don't go over 350° F, you'll be fine hdeck. Enjoy your dinner, I'm reheating pizza tonight as well 🙂

I reheat it all the time in my toaster oven....way better than microwaved.

i am a poor college student. donations for this *toaster oven* you speak of would be greatly appreciated 😀

what i used to do:

put the heat your stovetop to medium
put some butter in a frying pan
put the pizza in the pan
put lid on pan

let cook until the cheese is melted

make sure to keep it on medium to low, or the bottom will burn.

it worked really well w/ deep dish pizzas that were already kind of oily on the bottom (like Pizza Hut). plus it's faster than heating an entire oven.
