How do I restore the registry in win98se to a previous
backup.
I believe win98 holds 5 backups somewhere.

First action is to restart windows in MS-DOS mode.Then at the DOS prompt,type scanreg/restore,Select the one you want to restore to and press the R key on your keyboard.
After restoring to a previous version,you can reboot to start Windows,or simple type the win command to start Windows.
That all there is to it.
