Registry cleaners are 95% snake oil. Give yourself a pat on the back, it will do the same amount of good.

What are your "registry problems"? Maybe we can point you in the right direction for a fix.

Yes, CCleaner will do it. And it usually makes a Backup so if you need to restore something removed in error, you can.

i have cccleaner and it does find somethings but not the major issue, when i used regcure,it said i have 134 path file reference errors,339 empty registry item errors,70 program shortcut errors, and 9 com/active x errors,.what should i do?oh yeah, thank you all for responding,i really appreciate it.you guys are the best!

The good thing about CCleaner is it errs on the safe side. I have never seen CCleaner cause any problems. If CCleaner doesn't do what you need then you either need to not worry about it or manually take care of the problems after specifically spelling out your specific issue and we may be able to assist you with the manual edits needed.

Uneducated Fudging with the registry could cause you to have to reinstall the OS.

**** The Big Question is: Are you actually having a problem or are you having a knee jerk reaction to what " Regcure " is telling you?
