Registry info on drive other than C:

Re-installed windows on a new HD and the old installation of windows (with the old HD) is labeled as the G drive. I need to get access to that old registry, yet I don't seem to know how to start or even if I am able to. Any windows pro's here can lend a hand? Thanks.

Edit: Tried changing to the G: drive in command prompt then doing regedit, but no luck as it looks as its pulling my current registry and not the one from the G drive.

Care to post what you did to add value to the forum search function?

I have the same situation, and would like to know what was done to access the OLD 98 registry info.
(history: Once the water drained out, and the soot was removed, I was able to rescue the hard drive which I now have mounted into a USB case. Its not bootable, but I have everything including system.dat and user.dat )

Outlook Express stores the email "rules" in the registry ().() duh!
