I need:
big tv: best plasma or dlp? or whats best at 50-60inches.

Audiosystem with SMALL SPeakers like bose. (thx, dolby 2, etc..)

DVD-R player, etc......

Are people gonna actually buy you that stuff? I didn't know Best Buy had a wedding registry. What does your future wife have to say about that stuff?

all my friend had when he got married was a bunch of cleaning and cooking crap. and a DVD player.

With a registry like that, it's a wonder you ever got engaged! :p

I seriously doubt anyone will get you HT gear for a wedding present.

nakamichi invented the so-called lifestyle system, and probably still makes better ones than anyone else. tho they all suck. too many laws of physics trying to be broken at once.

i never did understand why you're allowed to tell everyone what to get your for a wedding but its rude for any other event

You're supposed to register for gifts ppl will/can get you! It's ok to put one extravagent item on the list.. but dont go overboard.. just put things in all price ranges too.
