I think I narrowed it down to the RAID controller on my machine. You can check out my rig if you want. Anyways a month ago or so I did about 7 new installs, in a about a weeks worth of time, everytime there was some sort of corruption then a blue screen. Most of the the time the corruption occurred in \WINNT\system32\config\software. I finally wised up and got PQDI4 and started making images. The last install I did I put the hard drive on the normal IDE controller. I have since not had any corruption and I dont have to pray that win2k will boot up :) I have recently put the hard drive back on the RAID controller to get back on ATA100, Ill see how it goes. I was wondering if anyone else had heard of this or had it happen. Any helpful comments or suggestions would be appreciated.

You have to pess F6 and load the Raid drivers when installing win2000, use the CD that came with it. The updated drivers wouldn't install. after you install with the regular drivers you can update them to current.
Make sure you have SP1 installed also. That may be your problem, my version comes with SP1 installed already.

When I install win2k (everytime) I hit F6 during the process to install additional RAID drivers and use the floppy disk that came with it labeled "Hot Rod" something or the other. If I dont do this the installation will crap out. My win2k install CD doesn't have SP1 but I always install it when I do a new install. Any other suggestions?
