Registering 2 IPs with one router

I woke up with this thought today of setting up a network where I could use my two IPs provided by my ISP without the use of a hub and second router.

Is there anything out there that will allows you to register to IPs to the unit, perhaps even allowing the wireless to have one IP, and the wired connections to have another?

Perhaps not so idle wonderings...

Actually,

More advanced routers can give you features like this. SonicWall has Firewall/Routers with multiple optional ports that can be used for fail over and load balancing. I'm sure they could be configured to meet your multi-ip needs.

We do Sonicwall's but I am sure only the enhanced version does this. Just somethinmg to keep in mind.

*nods* Yeah, I took a look at SonicWall's routers, I was hoping there may have been one out there for less than $350-$400. But damn, they're nice routers...5 wired ports, b/g wireless, built-in VPN...I suspect that they're worth it, but for my needs, unless I suddenly come into some cash, I think I stick with the two Linksys routers and the hub.

Thanks,

Matt
