registered or unregistered????

I was on the crucial website and I saw that they had pc133 registered and pc133 unregistered, what is the difference and will i see any performance increase with the registered kind??? also I have the same question for ECC ram, will I see any benefits from using it??? Also do any of you know approxametly how much I can overclock Crucial PC133 CL2 ECC registered memory????

Registered memory has a buffer chip that may increase performance and reliability. ECC memory, on the other hand, uses additional memory chips to correct certain types of memory malfunctions. ECC adds reliability at a performance cost.

some motherboards require registered, most don't. ECC is mostly for servers, and as I understand is a bit more stable, but slower.
EDIT - don't you hate it when you post at the same time as someone else? 🙂
