Registered ECC DDR capable Athlon motherboard?

I need to find a single-processor Athlon motherboard that's good for overclocking and supports Registered ECC DDR DIMMS (I have 1.5GB of it, 2 dimms). I know the Shuttle AK39N supports registered DDR, but it doesn't support ECC. If it just leaves ECC disabled, that's OK, but if it won't work, I need to find another motherboard that will support my RAM. Any ideas?

I think all VIA KT600 boards will take Reg ECC ram. It will not use the ECC part but will still work non the less.

BUT Reg. ram doe snot opverclock that well so it may slow you down greater then the board or CPU.

And how can you have 1.5Gig of Ram between 2 slabs?? Never heard of a 768mg slab??? And if you have matching memory, sell it to the people with server boards and/or Athlon FX boards.

I have a 1 GB and a 512 MB stick. Both are 2-2-2 timing, so they're pretty good for latency, but they're
only PC2100, so no 333 FSB for me. My plan is to pull the 512 stick and put it in another workstation (the
1 GB stick will remain in my dual Athlon MP2000+)

Then get a good KT600 board. Like I said, the ram will keep you from any real overclocking, but will work on most if not all KT600 boards.

VIA's chipsets support Registered DIMMs, and are ECC capable as well. However, actual availability of these two features depends on the board's hardware and BIOS implementation.
